Shipments & Delivery Policy

At Love and Desire, we confidently take on feedback from our customers and use it to implement on positive change .Our aim is to get your order to soon as possible.

How long will it take to process & dispatch my goods?

We normally process & dispatch orders with in 48 hours ensuring order confirmation is complete and payment is received. During busier times frames (such a Christmas & Valentine's periods) we try  our utmost to ensure promptness.

Please note we can only dispatch your order Monday to Friday (up to 5pm). There are no delivery services working on Sunday or Bank Holidays, so in these instance please expect immediate dispatch the next working day. 

You can login to your account to view your order status. We will also keep you updated by email confirming your order, when its is dispatched and tracking details.

You will receive your delivery within 3-5 working days after you place your orders  (please note Saturday and Sunday are not classed as working days).

We will provide you with a tracking number to keep you updated with your orders progress. If you are not around to take your delivery of your parcel, a card will be left telling you how you can rearrange your delivery or pick up your parcel.

When the goods are dispatched please allow 1-3 working days for them to reach you in the UK. 

If you do not receive your goods with 3 working days please email us info@loveanddesire.co.uk quote your order number, please do provide all your contact details so we can respond effectively.

Please ensure your shipping address you specified is correct and ensure someone is available to receive and sign for your order, as you cannot change the shipping address once its is shipped for that specific order. If your shipping address was incorrect and decide to change to different address while the order is shipped already, you will have to pay for your order again including Postage & Packaging . There will be no refunds for incorrect shipping addresses.

If no one is in to receive the order, usually you will receive a card/note saying the order is at your local DPD or Royal Mail local pick up shop, which you need to take that note and your identification to collect your order.

Another scenario (also due to incorrect addresses) is the package will be sent back to us then you have to wait for the order to return back to us and you will have to pay for the shipping cost again.

Last scenario is the order is totally lost due to incorrect address or no one was able to receive the order, which there will be no refund.

So please ensure that all the details that you give us are correct, so that we can carry out our obligation to you effectively. An email will be sent automatically regarding you order so do double check all the details are correct or contact us asap so it can be amended.

Europe

The following European countries Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain Sweden, Switzerland we allow you to unlimited fragrances for a Standard rate. This service will be provided by Europe Economy - DPD and will take 3-7 working days before you receive your items. 

All International Orders (excluding Europe Standard) above £100.00 GBP will quality for Free Shipping

For International Express and International standard we ship by Royal Mail, DHL & DPD  who provide tracking information on your parcels progress . When using International Express and International standard once your parcel has arrived in your country, it will be passed on to an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures.

  • Shipping will be automatically calculated at the checkout page when both the delivery destination and service option is selected.
  • Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
  • Customs policies vary widely from country, you may want contact your local customs office for further information.
  • If aren't available when your parcel is delivered, the courier will leave a calling card with instructions on how to pick it up.
International Failed Delivery Attempts

After receiving delivery confirmation for the selected method of delivery, we will not be held responsible for missing parcels disputes. Parcels will only be held at the courier depot for up to 5 days (time frame will vary with each country according to courier policies in any given country). If your package fails to be delivered without the arrangement of re-delivery though direct contact with DHL (International Customers), DHL and Love And Desire will make several attempts to contact the customer via telephone and email in order to try an arrange a suitable delivery time. If after 5 days there has been no contact with the customers despite several attempts, DHL will make a further attempt to leave your parcel with a neighbour and leave another card to the effect with the responsibility of collecting the parcel being that of the customers. If delivery to a neighbour is not possible, the parcel will be returned to Love And Desire with a charge applied by DHL. Any request which follows for further delivery attempt will be subject to a repeat delivery charge in full, in addition to the failed delivery charges which will be stated by DHL (charges will vary depending on the location and weight of the parcel concerned). An invoice will be sent to the customer in such circumstance and good will be dispatched  once all outstanding payments are complete.


  • We will not accept responsibility for packages which are returned to us due insufficient/incorrect address information. Additional shipping fees will be due for re-sending any order(s). This must be paid in advance of shipment.
  • We will not accept responsibility for items being delivered to incorrect location due to insufficient/incorrect address information being provided to Love And Desire.
  • We will not accept responsibility for the breakage/damage for any of our products that may occur during transit. Love And Desire ensure that all products are packaged to safeguard protection during the delivery process.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for the loss of any of our items/parcel during transit due to the fault of the third party service provider (the courier). However, Love And Desire will assist the customer in liaising with the relevant courier party, to investigate a reported loss and pursue the appropriate channels until the matter is resolved.
  • If a deliver attempt is deliberately rejected by the customer with refusal to sign for a parcel which was sent following a confirmed order, with the customer thereafter requesting a refund after the goods been sent, the initial shipping fees incurred but Love And Desire and any courier charges incurred for returning the parcel to Love And Desire  will be deducted from the total refund value.
